What changes the investment

Website cost depends on scope and complexity.

Page count matters, but it is only part of the scope.

Content depth

How many services, locations and customer questions need useful original pages?

Starting point

Are brand assets, photography and usable content ready, or does the project need to create the foundation?

Functionality

Does the website need booking, CRM, email, custom data or automation beyond an ordinary enquiry form?

Redesign risk

Does an existing site have rankings, URLs, content or integrations that must be preserved and migrated carefully?

Timing

Focused projects commonly take three to four weeks.

Larger websites and projects involving substantial content, multiple locations, custom development or automation generally take six to eight weeks or longer.

What keeps a project moving

Access, information and timely feedback.

The schedule also depends on receiving required account access, photography and business details, along with feedback during the agreed review period.

Frequently asked

Straight answers about website cost

How much does a small-business website cost?

Most TCW Marketing website projects range from $3,500 to $15,000, with many established small-business websites falling between $5,500 and $8,500. Page depth, content, locations, integrations and custom functionality determine the final scope.

Is the initial discovery consultation free?

Yes. The first conversation is free and helps establish the business goals, customer needs, functionality and likely scope. That information is then used to prepare the recommended scope, timeline and pricing for a separate proposal presentation.

How are website projects paid for?

Most smaller and mid-sized websites begin with a 50% deposit. The remaining 50% is due when the work is complete and before the website launches. Longer projects may use milestone or monthly payments, which will be defined in the proposal.

How many revisions are included?

Projects generally include between two and four hours of revision time, scaled to the project. Time is more useful than a fixed number of rounds because one requested change may take minutes while another may take several hours. Additional revisions are billed at the current hourly rate.

Are hosting and maintenance included?

Clients purchase and own their hosting. We can recommend dependable providers and work within the account. Ongoing maintenance, software renewals, backups and later revision work are identified separately from the website build.

Can we begin with a smaller first phase?

Yes, when the first phase still gives customers a complete and credible journey. A proposal can separate later locations, campaigns, integrations or functionality without stripping essential content from the initial website.
